2024 Deer Season Info

  • You do not need to call before dropping off your deer. Drop off anytime between 9am-8pm daily during Rifle Deer Season.  Please respect the few off hours we have & do not show up outside of our business hours. Also please note our normal pick up hours after deer season are Weekdays 2pm-6pm & Saturdays 9am-1pm. 
  • At the time of drop off you must get your cutting order taken in our front office (do not drop off & call later) & notify us then if you would like your deer caped ($70 charge) or you want to keep your hide (Extra $20 charge)
  • If you want to make changes to your initial order, we will do our best but we cannot guarantee that the changes will be made. Do not leave changes to orders on our voicemail  
  • All deer must gutted, tagged with the Site Tag and registered
  • We will not accept any wild game carcasses or trim that appears to have mishandled or is unsanitary. Do NOT bring meat in black garbage bags
  • We reserve the right to dispose of any wild game that is spoiled
  • Unsanitary or "dirty deer" will have a $30 extra cost added
  • Prices for sausage & other smoked products are charged by the weight of the wild game & pork before it is smoked (not finished weight)  Yields are approximate
  • We do not start the smoked products until after all the deer are cut at the end of season. Deer with smoked products will require 2 pick up trips. One for the cuts which will be done under 10 days typically & a 2nd time when  your smoked items are done sometime between Dec-Feb
  • Steaks, chops, roasts & burger are always 100% your own deer
  • Due to limited space, the desire to keep things orderly and to provide a safe work environment for our employees you have 1 week after you have been notified that your meat is ready or there will be freezer storage charges


2024 Bear Season Info

  • Drop off is by appointment only. As soon as you shoot your bear, please call and let us know. We understand it takes a while to get them out of the woods but we do appreciate communication as to when you will be arriving for drop off. We do receive bear after our regular hours and later at night but please be respectful of our time & get here as soon as you are able. It is also helpful to move quickly to get the bear cooled to prevent any meat spoilage. 
  • Call (320) 838-3669 or (612) 968-7280 for drop off
  • Bear must be gutted & tagged
  • If you are saving the hide/rug please pick it up within 24 hours. We do not have freezer space to keep them.
  • Pick your meat up within 72 hours of being notified it is done. Bear season is also during our busiest season for domestic processing & we need freezer space
  • We reserve the right to dispose of any meat that is spoiled
